Suicide By Crocodile

The mysterious disappearance of a 36-year-old Thai woman may have been solved  when it was revealed she may have committed suicide by throwing herself into a local crocodile pit.

The woman, long suffering from depression and money problems, told her husband that she was going out to see a doctor, but she never returned.  She was spotted on security cameras entering the crocodile farm on the outskirts of Bangkok.  The official word from the farm was a denial that the woman disappeared there, but the husband is alleging that workers from the farm have confided in him that she in fact did die at the farm, but only after she “jumped intentionally” into the croc pit.

The husband claims that a representative of the farm has called to make a settlement, but he stated publicly that he didn’t want to press charges – he only wants the truth out in the open and the farm not to cover up the incident.

Suicide Via Spoon

Robert Rodriguez, 29, had been arrested and jailed on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance and was in the Bexar County Jail in Texas.

This week Rodriguez was found unconscious and bleeding in his cell, and later died at a hospital.  The wounds were self inflicted from a plastic spoon he’d sharpened and then used to stab himself.  The man was not on suicide watch.  He originally was arrested on June 9th.

Suicide Via Chainsaw – That Should Do The Trick

Valerie Nash, 47, knows how to “use the right tool for the job”.

Suicide with a chainsaw.

Her body was discovered around midnight Thursday by her sister in the woman’s LA town home.  Sgt. Richard Parks was quoted, “Her sister came home and found her in her room deceased on the bed with a chainsaw wound to the neck,” and an autopsy is pending.  Originally the scene was first labeled as a possible murder, but later changed to suicide.  Later reports came out that her body had signs of decomposition and she may have been dead for as long as a day.

The sisters shared the town home and the room of the deceased was jammed, but the sister could see enough and found her on the bed with the chainsaw next to her.  There was also a suicide note found at the scene.

The Things They’ll Find After You Die

In Australia, a 52 year old man riding a motorcycle was killed in a horrible accident when his bike collided head first with an 18-wheeler.

His body was burned and mangled so badly it took authorities time to correctly identify his remains.  In fact, the wreck was so intense that police began to wonder if it was not a suicide.  Finally, they ID’d the body and went to the man’s home to inform the 48 year old woman that lives at the same address about the man’s fate.

When they arrived there was no answer at the door and signs that there had been no activity at the house in several days.  Police forced their way into the home and after a search made a grizzly discovery.  The woman they were looking for was dead and stuff into the home’s refrigerator.  There are reports the woman’s remains had been cut up and packaged into the freezer section, but police are denying that.  But they do admit that the condition of the body is such that they have yet to fully ID the remains.

The also claim to have turned up a possible object that was used in the murder of the woman.  Police now think both bodies are the result of a murder/suicide.
