Around 4pm Tuesday to California Highway Patrol officers (no, not Paunch and John) noticed a single engine plane, an Aerotek, flying way too low to the ground. Where minimum height would be 500 feet, this plane was somewhere a lot closer to 50 feet.
They followed the plane to the airport it finely landed safely and questioned the 62 year old pilot and owner of the plane, when they noticed a strong smell of booze on him.
He was arrested and charged with suspicion of reckless flying and operating an aircraft under the influence after failing field sobriety tests.
