Scott Bennett of Pennsylvania really wanted to get some time off from work.
So he called the Jeffersonian Democrat newspaper and placed an obituary for his mother, who actually was still alive and well.
Relatives called the paper after seeing the obit, and the mom actually went to the paper to further prove it.
Bennett was arrested for disorderly conduct, and I’m guessing, fired from his gig.
